Spitting Poison & Revamped difficulty scaling


Players can now spit poison projectiles to damage enemies like the Eagle. These projectiles deal scalable damage, interrupt enemy behavior, and require careful timing due to a short cooldown. This new mechanic adds a powerful offensive option to the gameplay.

New Eagle Logic

The Eagle’s behavior has been revamped to make it more dynamic and challenging:

  • State-Based AI: The Eagle now transitions between states like Idle, Hunting, Hit, Dying, and Dead, each with unique behaviors.
  • Scaling Aggression: Its aggression angle, speed, and damage scale with difficulty and the number of times it has been defeated, keeping it a formidable opponent.
  • Death and Respawn: The Eagle now has a dramatic death animation, including shrinking, spinning, and particle effects. After dying, it respawns outside the playable area, giving players a brief moment to prepare.

These changes make the Eagle a more engaging and unpredictable enemy. Combined with the spitting poison mechanic, the game now offers deeper strategy and more intense encounters. Let me know what you think!
